CREATIVE WORKSHOP
The Sanyu Rising Creative Workshop is a post-training opportunity for those who have passed through our skill building, discipleship, and business training course, who produce high-quality products and are motivated to launch their small businesses.
This program allows us to further help the budding artisan develop skills and experience in the area they excelled in and gained a passion for during training with the safety net of us providing the materials, machinery, overhead, and a network of customers. Through a savings program the creators are able to make, sell, learn how to further infuse creativity into their skill set, gain practical business experience, and have continued guidance and mentorship all while earning / saving up capital for their small businesses in a low-risk way that builds responsibility and accountability.
We commission pieces and create designs alongside the makers to create unique products, we fairly pay the creator for their labor then we sell the items. The maker earns 90% of the profit of the sale of the item while Sanyu Rising makes 10% of the profit with the goal that in the future we may advance this program and hopefully be more self-sustainable in our training programs.
Another way the creative workshop works for its creators & makers - is when the maker is given an order by a customer they are free to come to the workshop to use the machinery, tools, or workspace, with creative or business guidance free-of charge available to them as they fulfill their orders.
